ABOUT US
Welcome to Tarpon Springs Fishing Club, Inc., home of the River Rats! Our organization is a 501c3 nonprofit whose mission is to educate and encourage kids and families, in fact everyone, to spend time in and on the local waters of Tarpon Springs, whether fishing, boating or sailing, and enjoy the beautiful marine environment we are blessed to have. We are passionate about pulling kids (and folks of all ages!) away from their screens, getting them "off-line" and outside "on-line"... a fishing line! Come to meetings and experience the camaraderie and light-hearted competition that exists among fishermen and boaters that builds friendships in a way that Facebook can't! Activities for all ages planned: fun tournaments, community outreach, picnics, parades, fish fries and more! Join us on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm for snacks and to purchase raffle tickets, and 6:30 to learn from a speaker, make friends, and get in on the raffle! Be a part of something bigger than you... you won't walk away disappointed!
OUR MISSION
Tarpon Springs Fishing Club, Inc. is an educational organization which promotes youth and family participation in the sports of fishing and safe boating, to build knowledge, skills and relationships in a community that fosters competition and camaraderie, as well as respect for the marine environment.

EVENTS
Club meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of every month. Snacks and raffle tickets are available for purchase at 6:00 pm and a guest speaker will speak at 6:30. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each. Sign up for our mailing list and follow us on Facebook to stay up to date on upcoming meetings and events!
RESTAURANT GET TOGETHER
As we mentioned at the last meeting, we will not be having a club meeting in either November or December due to the meeting dates being so close to the holidays... we don't want to compete with family or travel plans! Soooo, we've decided to have a restaurant get together on Nov. 20th for those who can and would like to join us. Capt'n Jack's is saving us a big table so as many as can make it will be able to sit together. We had a great time when we did this before at Mr. Souvlaki's and at the Tarpon Tavern last year. Let's meet at the restaurant at 6:30pm- that should give everyone time to make it there from work/ school. Call, text or send an email if you're able to make it so we can save you a seat! We're really looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible!
November 20th @ 6:30pm
